Haha, I feel pretty lucky to live in Dubai as well! Its a tad bit expensive, but everything's always over the top and very cartoon like, you get used to the feeling that you're in a movie. ;D
Another person who falls asleep with caffeine, wow thats rare. Its hard to find people who believe me when I say that. LOL, I'm allergic to carrot juice.

Hi, Stacy! I love snail mail! I used to have a ton of pen pals in high school. Emails are quicker, but there’s nothing better than receiving a hand written letter. :)

That's a huge shame about the 50/50 chance, but it could be worse right? My fingers are crossed for ya :)
Across the Universe is definitely worth watching, and the soundtrack is worth having, even if you're not a big Beatles fan.
What kind of job do you do in the army? I'm super interested in the military, so excuse the questions lol.
Is that a different language or a word you two made up? Haha, I’m so curious!
I really hope that I can someday recover the files. Recovery discs won’t help with the recovery of my files since it’s the spindle that’s frozen so my HD is done. :/
I’m in the signal communications field. I deal with all the radios, antennas, satellites, etc. I also train people on these things. It’s important everyone in the military know how to at least install/operate/maintenance a radio. What did you want to do in the military?

In order to recover the files, the spindle has to be fixed. If the spindle is frozen, the HD will not read at all. My recovery files are in the HD, which makes this a PITA to deal with. :( I always get screwed on these things. My last laptop crashed and I lost everything. They were different brands of HD and laptops, even.
The day of vacation, I tried to turn on my laptop to check my last emails before I headed off for a week. It made a beeping sound and wouldn’t recognize my hard drive. Turns out, the spindle is frozen on the drive. To get it fixed costs about $1000 [44230 ₱ / 644 £] and it’s a 4 hour process. I’m not interested in a new laptop, all I’m interested in is recovering my pictures and music.
I can’t go through losing my pictures, again. Damn hard drive.
